Sheep and Wool Day

Handspun Knitting wool for Sale

   Saturday 27^th June

11.00 – 16.00

 Come and see our sheep! Join in woolly activities for all ages; dye woolly things with woad and indigo; woolly things for sale.     Tea, coffee and cakes are available.             

All welcome

Our dye garden is at Vauxhall City Farm in Central London.

Our main activities:

·         Cultivation and extraction of dyestuffs from plant sources

·         Reviving historical dye recipes for indigo, madder, safflower, etc.

·         Producing hand-made yarns for weaving, embroidery and knitting using natural fibres

·         Producing naturally dyed fabrics 

·         Training and education
